The exterior drive up units at Extra Space Storage along South Anthony Boulevard in Fort Wayne, Indiana are now open. The additional units were constructed by Gibson Commercial Construction and allowed a non-climate controlled option to Extra Space’s customers. These new units feature NOKE technology to secure units and offer convenient access. The scope of the project entailed grading, asphalt, landscaping, fencing, construction of the buildings, and the infrastructure for the NOKE system.
The Extra Space Storage along Maplecrest Road and Stellhorn Road in Fort Wayne has recently opened its expansion. The expansion constructed by Gibson Commercial Construction allowed the facility to offer nonclimate-controlled storage options to complement their interior climate controlled units. The expansion included work to the storm sewer system, grading work, asphalt, landscaping, fencing, and the construction of the buildings. These new outdoor units offer NOKE technology to secure the units and offer convenient access to users.
Gibson Commercial Construction has recently completed an interior self-storage conversion in Euclid, Ohio. The 114,000 sf facility features a drive through lane for easier unloading and loading. The interior storage units are beginning to take form for the new Extra Space Self Storage in Euclid, Ohio. The climate-controlled conversion continues along since the last update. The roof replacement has been completed, new RTUs set and fired up, new electrical circuits ran, and light fixtured converted. The painting and finishes will be installed along with the unit installation.
Work continues in Euclid, Ohio as the metal package prepares to be installed at the future Extra Space Storage. The new RTUs have been installed on the freshly completed roof. The ductwork is near completion as the painting scope nears the end. The floor grinding will make way for the metal package installation as work to the office makes headway.
Gibson Commercial Construction is proud to announce the completion of 38Key Storage in Indianapolis, IN. The new self-storage facility located just north of the intersection of 38th Street and Keystone Avenue offers over 13,000 square feet of rentable storage space. The site is secured with new fencing, an automatic gate, video surveillance, as well as individual unit alarms. The scope completed included reworking existing utilities, new concrete pavement, site improvements, as well as the new storage building and the security and access systems.
Drywall is up and being finished, paint is being sprayed, and the final site items are being completed as the new facility for Traffic Control Specialists in Crawfordsville, IN hits the home stretch. Soon, the ceilings will be installed as well as the light fixtures and plumbing fixtures. Stay tuned as this project nears completion.
