Associated Builders and Contractors – Prep Academy
The project consisted of an approximate 7,920 SF interior renovation of an existing office building into a construction prep academy for Associated Builders and Contractors Indiana Kentucky. The building’s labs and offices were converted into classrooms. Fresh paint, flooring and lighting were included as part of the scope of work. The former warehouse received a refresh including LED lighting and air conditioning to create a comfortable building lab for the future builders.
New BMV Connect coming to Lafayette
Work has commenced on a new BMV Connect branch in Lafayette, IN. The new BMV branch, located within the Market Square Shopping Center, will feature BMV Connect kiosks allowing for 24 hour access to BMV services. The buildout includes offices, classrooms, testing stations and transaction desks. Stay registered as this project drives along.

Gibson Commercial Construction transformed two former office buildings into the new home for Tom Wood Powersports on 96th Street in Carmel, Indiana. The new space offers two showrooms for the multiple brand offerings, as well as a new service center to expand service capabilities offered at the location. New Prep Academy for Associated Builders and Contractors
A new Prep Academy was recently completed for Associated Builders and Contractors in Fishers, IN. Gibson Commercial Construction, as well as many other members of Associated Builders and Contractors, were able to complete the buildout in order to give high school students the preparation tools they would need to grow within the construction field with hands-on experience. Gibson Commercial Construction is pleased to be able to assist with the buildout of the new Associated Builders and Contractors Prep Academy in Fishers, IN. The new space will allow the Prep Academy to continue its reach to local high school students to prepare them for careers within the construction trades. This program offers high school students a unique opportunity to experience the trades hands-on and begin their training prior to graduation.

Extra Space Storage Expansion is Open
The Extra Space Storage along Maplecrest Road and Stellhorn Road in Fort Wayne has recently opened its expansion. The expansion constructed by Gibson Commercial Construction allowed the facility to offer nonclimate-controlled storage options to complement their interior climate controlled units. The expansion included work to the storm sewer system, grading work, asphalt, landscaping, fencing, and the construction of the buildings. These new outdoor units offer NOKE technology to secure the units and offer convenient access to users.
