Gibson Commercial Construction has recently completed the new facility for the IMPD’s K9 Division. The new building is located at the former Central State site on the west side of Indianapolis. Training space, offices, locker rooms, and a classroom are some of the new amenities now available for the K9 Unit.
Utility install is wrapping up and buildings are going up at the newest self-storage option in Indianapolis. The soon-to-be available units at 38Key Storage are taking shape as the site work wraps up at the location along Keystone Avenue. The (3) buildings, totaling 13,750 square feet, are expected to be open in January 2021.
The concrete work is wrapped up and final grade is in progress as we await building delivery at the exterior self-storage expansion along South Anthony Road in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The expansion at Extra Space Storage will offer (13) new cold storage structures to expand their existing storage options. The exterior storage will feature state-of-the-art technology for access and security.
The foundations, slabs, and curbs are complete as progress continues at the Extra Space Self Storage along Maplecrest Road in Fort Wayne, IN. Soon the (18) structures will begin their vertical construction along with the installation of the technology for access and security for the facility.
Gibson Commercial Construction has completed the expansion to the Love’s Travel Stop in Greenville, Illinois. The 1,250 square foot expansion made room for the Hot To Go food offerings with a prep area complete with a walk-in cooler/freezer, as well as, additional space for merchandise. Next time you are out on I-70, stop in to see the expanded offerings.
Gibson Commercial Construction was proud to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for 38Key, a new self-storage facility on Keystone Ave in Indianapolis, IN. The facility will offer close to 100 individually alarmed units in this phase of the project. 38Key plans to be open at the end of January for new tenants.
Steel is up and masonry is following closely behind as the push begins to wrap up the exterior work at Traffic Control Specialists’ new facility in Crawfordsville, IN. Soon the structure will be closed up and interior framing and finishes can begin. Stay tuned as the slabs are poured and the interior begins to take shape.
Gibson Commercial Construction has recently completed the expansion to the Tom Wood Collision Center in Carmel, IN. The project consisted of converting existing office space into additional estimating bays. Due to compromising conditions, the existing tilt walls were replaced with concrete masonry. New glass overhead doors and lights help the concrete floor shine. Check out these before and after photos of the project.
Work has begun on the Extra Space Self Storage in Euclid, Ohio. This project along Babbitt Road is a conversion of a former big box into climate controlled self storage. This location will feature a drive-thru unloading/loading area. Gibson Commercial Construction’s scope includes refreshing the exterior of the building, cutting openings for the drive-thru lane, new mechanical systems, and construction of the storage units.
Gibson Commercial Construction has broken ground on another exterior storage expansion in Fort Wayne, IN. This project along South Anthony Boulevard includes (13) new structures in front of the existing Extra Space Self Storage. Once complete, this project will offer expanded square footage and storage options.
