Extra Space Storage – Cleveland

Phase 1 of this project consisted of a renovation to a 100,000 SF century-old building in downtown Cleveland to a climate controlled storage facility. This three story structure required selective demolition, installation of the storage unit hallways and doors, new office buildout, overhaul of the fire suppression, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Phase 2 included adding portable units to the parking area to add a drive up storage option to this facility. New asphalt, landscaping, fencing, site lighting and artwork added an attractive focus to this site.

BMV – Lafayette, IN

Gibson Commercial Construction completed a buildout for Indiana BMV in Lafayette, Indiana. This new 13,000 SF branch located in the Market Square Shopping Center increased the number of work stations and training space for the employees. This branch also incorporated a Connect Center to provide Hoosiers around the clock access to the BMV connect kiosks, which can complete routine transactions to help avoid the wait.

Lorain Mini Storage

The project consisted of an approximate 10,000 SF renovation of an existing industrial building and prefabricated outdoor storage.

The Interior Scope of Work included selective demolition and buildout of a portion of the existing industrial building to complete phase 1 of a multi-phase project to convert the interior into climate-controlled storage. New lighting, paint and mechanical systems throughout this phase, accent the new hallways and doors.

The Exterior Scope of Work included site prep for new prefabricated storage units. Site preparation included new asphalt, fencing, landscape and sliding gates. The existing building received a new roof system, exterior paint and awnings.

Associated Builders and Contractors – Prep Academy

The project consisted of an approximate 7,920 SF interior renovation of an existing office building into a construction prep academy for Associated Builders and Contractors Indiana Kentucky. The building’s labs and offices were converted into classrooms. Fresh paint, flooring and lighting were included as part of the scope of work.  The former warehouse received a refresh including LED lighting and air conditioning to create a comfortable building lab for the future builders.

Tom Wood Powersports

The project consisted of an approximate 39,000 SF renovation and 2,900 SF addition to (2) former office buildings. The project transformed the multi-office suite building into a new Powersports center with showrooms, service center and parts departments.

The Exterior Scope of Work performed by Gibson Commercial Construction includes a new center structure to connect the buildings, parking area improvements, and landscaping.

The Interior Scope of Work included a complete demolition of the interior finishes down to the studs. New finishes were applied to accommodate the new use of the facility including epoxy flooring, metal liner panel, solid core wood doors, drywall and acoustical ceilings. New plumbing, electrical, fire suppression and mechanical systems were installed as part of this project.
